Facelift

A facelift (rhytidectomy) can restore an individual’s face to its former contours, providing a more toned and firm face and neck and an overall fresher, younger appearance. The results of a facelift may be dramatic or subtle, in accord with the patient’s needs. A facelift can also be combined with another procedure such as eyelid surgery or a brow lift. The following facial problems can be corrected with a facelift:

  • Jowls
  • Fat deposits
  • Deep wrinkles and creases in facial skin
  • Creases between the nose and corners of the mouth
  • “Marionette lines” that go from corners of the mouth downward
  • Sagging neckline
  • Soft jaw line
  • Overall facial skin sagging

Brow Lift

A brow lift (also known as a forehead lift) is a procedure used to correct a sagging forehead, decrease horizontal lines and furrows, and tighten the skin of the upper face to achieve a more youthful look for the forehead and eyebrow area. Excess skin and muscle are removed using an incision that is hidden along the hairline or in the hair. A brow lift can eliminate the tired, sad or angry look that a sagging or furrowed forehead sometimes creates, providing an individual with a refreshed and happier appearance.

Neck Lift

A neck lift improves signs of aging in the neck by repositioning and reshaping loose or sagging skin and muscle, and may also reduce excess fat deposits in the neck and beneath the chin. A neck lift may be appropriate if you have loose or wrinkled neck skin or a double chin resulting from excess fatty tissue.

Ears

Ear surgery, also known as otoplasty can improve the shape, position or proportion of the ear. It can correct a defect in the ear structure, protruding ears, or can treat misshapen ears caused by injury. Ear surgery creates a natural shape, while bringing balance and proportion to the ears and face. Correction of even minor deformities can have profound benefits to appearance.

Facial Fillers

Facial fillers are a non-surgical solution to anti-aging. They fill in lines, smooth wrinkles and enhance the soft tissue of the face. Fillers may be formulated from hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found in the skin, or from other slowly absorbable substances. Facial fillers may be an alternative non-surgical option to look younger or may be performed to enhance results from plastic surgery:

  • Fillers may smooth deep furrows or wrinkles
  • Restore volume to the cheeks or lips
  • Correct marionette lines and lines around the mouth

Botox

Adults are living longer than ever before. We feel vital, we’re active and we want our bodies to mirror youthful minds and hearts. Enter botulinum toxin, better known as botox, one of the most important substances to hit the field of facial rejuvenation. Short of a surgical facelift, this substance is the most popular way to reduce facial wrinkles. Botox can be used as a wrinkle treatment to smooth:

  • Frown lines
  • Crows feet
  • Forehead furrows
  • Skin bands on the neck

Botox can be combined with other cosmetic skin procedures such as chemical peels, facial fillers or microdermabrasion to further improve your results. This combination of therapies can even help to prevent the formation of new lines and wrinkles.

Dysport

This injectable treatment for wrinkles is made from the same neurotoxin as Botox. Dysport received the approval of the FDA for use as a wrinkle treatment in the spring of 2009, but it has been smoothing out facial folds and lines in Europe and elsewhere for several years. Dysport is injected directly into the muscles that cause facial wrinkles, temporarily immobilizing them.

Xeomin

Xeomin is the latest cosmetic injectable approved by the FDA to treat facial lines and wrinkles. Xeomin is a product very similar to Botox and Dysport which are commonly used to treat dynamic wrinkles. Dynamic wrinkles include the forehead lines, fine lines around the eyes (crow’s feet), and the furrows between the eyebrows (glabella or 11 lines).

Xeomin works by targeting the wrinkle causing facial muscles in order to eliminate these dynamic lines. When used properly by an experienced injector, Xeomin can provide a very natural appearing and dramatic improvement in your appearance. Just as patients have become accustomed to with Botox and Dysport, treatment is quick and relatively painless. Effects can be seen in a few days after injection and last for months.

Resurfacing

Visible signs of aging and UV damage to the skin such as fine lines and wrinkles, surface irregularities and pigmentation may be corrected using a variety of specialized technologies and treatments. Treatment may simply correct surface conditions, or may dramatically remodel the skin, resulting in improved skin tone, firmness and texture.

Peels improve skin clarity and color, resulting in a more radiant and youthful complexion. Lasers, including fractionated treatment may treat select concerns such as discoloration, vascular lesions and vessels, or completely resurface the skin treating fine lines and wrinkles, acne scarring, tattoo removal and other surface irregularities.

Results range from temporarily refreshing the skin, to more long term improvement. Continued treatment and proper skincare including UV protection will help to maintain your results.

Lip Enhancement

Lip enhancement, restoring fullness or shape to the lips, is most commonly achieved by treatment with injection of hyaluronic acid based gel fillers, such as Restylane, Juvederm, or with fat injections.

Lip enhancement may be appropriate for someone looking to rejuvenate an aging appearance of the lips, or to improve the appearance of naturally thin lips. By restoring fullness to the lips, lipstick bleed lines or the vertical lines around the lip line may also be dramatically improved.
